Egypt Yellow Pages kicks-off another record year

The world's most recognized and trusted telephone directory brand appears to be enjoying equally tremendous success in Egypt. The company announced record financial and distribution results for the 2007 Egypt Yellow Pages canvass year at its annual Kick-Off celebration.

Marc Lambert, Managing Director of Egypt Yellow Pages attributes the company's success to many factors but primarily to a much more marketing savvy business community who recognize the trust and confidence advertisers have in the globally recognized brand which is Yellow Pages, and a very talented group of over 180 media consultants.

'Egypt Yellow Pages Ltd has experienced unprecedented growth in the last four years. It is clear to me that the Egyptian economy is gaining more and more momentum not only locally but throughout the world,' said Lambert. 'The growth of both our mediums -print and online - proves that.'

The annual event held at Sakkara Country Club, was a full day of celebrations and recognition of employee excellence. Egypt Yellow Pages employs well over 300 people throughout Egypt in a culture of employee contribution and the ability to contribute at all levels.

One of the more memorable highlights of the day was the appearance of star Ahaly footballer, Tariq El Saeed. Tariq attended and selected the MVP's of a company football match called the Super Cup and presented the winning trophy to some very thrilled Yellow Pages footballers. 'You have some pretty good players at Yellow Pages.' he stated with a smile.
