Ganesan Srinivasan named General Manager of Carrier Qatar

Carrier Corp., a subsidiary of United Technologies Corp. (NYSE:UTX), has appointed Ganesan Srinivasan as General Manager Carrier Qatar.

Srinivasan will strengthen Carrier's management and drive the company's strategic growth in Qatar. Carrier Qatar is a joint venture between Carrier and Ensrv Group., and is among the local leading cooling companies with strong presence in residential, commercial and industrial air conditioning and refrigeration.

Commenting on the appointment, Aftab Khan, Managing Director, Building Systems & Services, Carrier Middle East, said, "The cooling market in Qatar is witnessing significant growth, spurred by the government's development initiatives and the construction boom. To meet the changing preferences of this dynamic market, Carrier Qatar is introducing technologies that are not only sophisticated but environmentally sustainable as well. Srinivasan's extensive knowledge of the region's HVAC sector will add momentum to Carrier's new initiatives in Qatar."

Srinivasan brings to Carrier Qatar over 22 years of work experience covering various functions including 12 years of valuable expertise in the HVAC sector covering sales, marketing, service and parts, purchasing, quality and employee health and safety. Prior to assuming responsibilities at Carrier Qatar, Srinivasan was Business Unit Manager-Service of UTS Carrier in Dubai and Divisional Manager-Parts and Allied Products and Branch Manager of Carrier Saudi Arabia in Riyadh.
