MTC-Vodafone readies WiMAX

MTC-Vodafone - Bahrain will start rolling out its WiMAX service next month with a full commercial service being available from September. The imminent launch follows the award of one of two National Fixed Wireless Services licences to MTC-Vodafone by Bahrain's Telecommunications Regulatory Authority at the start of this year. The firm is aiming to offer customers high-speed wireless broadband Internet across the entire country.
