The DIFC is the region's leading international financial hub and has successfully attracted leading financial institutions from across the globe. Since it was established in 2004, DIFC has attracted over 400 member companies from across the globe, including the likes of Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, Merrill Lynch, Barclays, Deutsche Bank and Lloyds TSB. The Goldman Sachs meeting at the DIFC follows the visit to the DIFC of the Board of Directors of Morgan Stanley in March this year.
