DTCM host football star Clarence Seedorf

The Dubai Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM) is hosting the visit of A C Milan football star, Clarence Seedorf, to Dubai from June 10 to 14.

He is touring the UAE to announce his plans to set up The Clarence Seedorf Football Academy which will greatly benefit young footballers in the country and to help take UAE football to another level.

He is being accompanied by Geoffrey Schuhkraft and Marco Odisio from On International, the company promoted by Seedorf with specialization in sports, entertainment and investments.

He is due to meet with senior officials and presidents of leading UAE football clubs in addition to taking a tour of the Nakheel properties.

The DTCM officials held discussions with Mr. Clarence Seedorf at the DTCM Head Office on Sunday.

The Suriname-born Seedorf is the only player in the world that has won three times the Champions League with three different teams: Ajax (1195), Real Madrid (1998) and Milan (2003).
