Members of the delegation met with Her Excellency the President of Chile Mrs. Michelle Bachelet, His Excellency the Minister of Economy Mr. Alejandro Ferreiro, Vice-Minister of Foreign Affairs Mr. Alberto Van Klaveren, Senator Hernan Larrain, Mayor of Linares Mr. Rolando Renteria Möller and other dignitaries during the visit.
In a meeting with His Excellency Alejandro Ferreiro, Minister of Economy, the topic of energy saving was discussed in which Mr. Mohammed Al Quraishi addressed the Minister's priority with a product solution for the industrial sector represented by the Al
Quraishi Group.
The Natural Lighting System 'SunLight' is a new generation in natural lighting solutions which works on the reception of sun light as a source. Inner lighting filtration of UV and IR radiation waves (Ultra Violet and Infra Red), completely eliminates the heat by absorbing 98% of UV and 100% of IR radiations and provides a 100% visible light spectrum.
'I strongly believe in the 'Negawatt', one of the measure units of Energy Efficiency and this energy saving focus fits well within the strategy of the Chilean government,' said Mr. Al Quraishi. 'I am convinced that this is one of the points in which we can work together in the very near future.'
During Al Quraishi's visit to Linares, a city south of Santiago known for its strong agriculture sector, Mayor of Linares Rolando Renteria Möller welcomed Mr. Al Quraishi and handed him the commemorative plaque of 'SAN AMBROSIO DE LINARES'.
In Linares, Mr. Al Quraishi placed the first orders for Natural Spring Water from the Andes Mountains for the U.A.E. market.
The UAE delegation included Mr. Hamad bin Mejren, Director of Inward Missions at DTCM, Head of the Delegation, Mr. Adel Lootah, Executive Director of the Dubai Property Group, Mr. Mohammed Al Quraishi from Al Quraishi Group, Mr. Mohammed Hassan Al Sharif from Farzana Trading and Hamid Taheri from Unifrutti Pars Company, among other companies.
Al Quraishi Group joins multi-sector delegation to Chile
The Al Quraishi Group, represented by its Chairman Mr. Mohammed Al Quraishi, recently visited Santiago Chile, as part of the first multi sector delegation from the U.A.E, organised and accompanied by Mr. Jean-Paul Tarud-Kuborn, Trade Commissioner of Chile in the U.A.E.
