Reaching a top speed of 31kts and cruising easily at 25kts, using a mere 15gal/hr of fuel, the Majesty 50 is awesome.

Following a quality program administered by Al Masaood Marine, Gulf Craft has met and exceeded the requirements to have the installation of Volvo Penta D9 575 engine certified in the Majesty 50. The procedure is intense, with Sea trails alone taking more than 8 hours to complete. The system checks required, ensure the engines and the accessories fitted to the yacht are installed to give optimum performance and service life.

'It is important to provide our customers with the standards and qualities they demand of their luxury yachts. We are delighted to have partnered with Volvo Penta to provide certified engines for our Majesty 50 yachts adding value and improving overall satisfaction for our clients. We look forward to a long lasting and successful relationship with Volvo Penta and one which will enhance the Majesty Yacht experience even further,' said Erwin Bamps, Executive Manager for Gulf Craft Inc.

The benefits for the customer are wide-ranging and very positive:
1)Firstly the customer has the knowledge that the installation is of the highest quality and done is unison with the manufacturer. This means the engine's location, air, fuel, exhaust and drive systems are in accordance to the designed specifications.

2)The engines are not over stressed, delivering the required horsepower, on board comfort and service life.

3)Warranty is world wide and the owner has the sure knowledge that the Volvo Penta representative in the area of operation will support the products and can get installation information from the VP net including wiring diagrams, performance details and commissioning dates.

4)Added value to the craft and reduced maintenance costs.

5)Increased customer satisfaction and minimized disputes concerning responsibility.

6)Resale value is improved.

It is clear sign of the maturity of the UAE boat manufacturing industry, and in particular Gulf Craft Inc. The world recognized brand is successfully meeting head on the demanding and very competitive world market. Al Masaood is pleased to be associated with Gulf Craft Inc and our in-house expertise is able to fully support them to grow globally.

Gulf Craft has joined the elite group of manufacturers that have Volvo Penta Certification, such as Fairline, Cranchi and Beneteau. No other Middle Eastern company has achieved this status and shows Gulf Craft to be the market leader.

Al Masaood looks forward to continuing the program and certifying further models with Volvo Penta.

Notes and media contacts

Gulf Craft Inc, based in Ajman in the United Arab Emirates, now exports more than 70 per cent of its output and its super-luxury vessels are to be found in virtually every major harbour of the world.

Although Gulf Craft Inc began life building small pleasure craft, it is now a mainstream producer of multi-deck masterpieces where neither expense nor effort are spared in setting the definitive 'state of the art' standard for ocean-going luxury.

It is one of only a handful capable of producing vessels of 100-ft and over, with an annual production of about 700 vessels up to 130 ft overall length.

Since launching its Majesty Yachts brand in 2004, orders have been pouring in. Its first top-of-the range 130-footer is due for delivery soon and a 145-footer is now on the drawing boards.
