The event took place in the presence of professional coaches from the NBA and basketball legend Olympian gold medalist Spencer Haywood who is considered one of the legend players in the history of the American Basketball League.
The clinic included the offence against the man to man defense and the offence against zone and other topics that are key in training strategies used by coaches.
Secretary General & CEO of the Jordan Basketball Federation Engineer Nabeel Abu Ata welcomed the coaches saying, 'On behalf of the basketball family in Jordan, we welcome you to this beautiful country and we hope that coaches and players will benefit from your long experience in basketball.'
General Manager of the Coca Cola Bottling Company Jordan Mr. Muhanad Al Turk emphasized the importance of this event, which would upgrade the skills of basketball players in Jordan by hosting such professional coaches and players.
NBA Cares is a professional associations working on the promotion and dissemination of basketball popularity in the world and supporting charitable programs and initiatives of development through the promotion of the game around the world.

Jordan Basketball Federation, in collaboration with Amman center for Peace and Development and the support of the strategic partner of the Jordan Basketball Association Sprite, organized an international coaching clinic recently at the Orthodox Club gym.
