ETA and JW Marriott join hands to develop the first ever branded residences at Dubai Lifestyle City

Heralding a significant paradigm shift in the real estate sector in the region, ETA has signed the contract with JW Marriott to develop the living component of Dubai Lifestyle City as the first JW Marriott branded residential property worldwide.

Dubai Lifestyle City, an AED 2.4 billion project in Dubailand sprawling over an area of four million square feet, is envisaged as a unique residential enclave that offers its residents and visitors an enchanting lifestyle within a calm and natural environment. The project, the first of its kind in the region, aims at the creation of a self-sufficient residential community surrounded by fine hotels, spas, sports academies and other facilities, digitally connected to each other.

Dubai Lifestyle City will have 68 villas and 120 villettes (apartment homes), all designed in the exquisite Tuscany style, with excellent views over the golf course and Italian courtyards.

Speaking on the sidelines of the signing ceremony, Ed Fuller, President and MD, Marriott Lodging International, said that he is proud to be associated with Dubai Lifestyle City. "I consider it one of our most special partnerships. It is the first branded residential project that we are undertaking under the JW Marriott brand. The authenticity of the Tuscany architecture is what fascinates me most about this project. Authenticity is an important theme in today's world," he concluded.

Echoing similar sentiments, Arif B. Rahman, Managing Director, Dubai Lifestyle City, said that the Group was very privileged to have entered into a partnership with JW Marriott. "This partnership, we feel, is one of the chief strengths that set this project apart. The rich experience and expertise that Marriott brings into this relationship will add luster to the project, which I am sure will be judged a landmark in the region," he added.

Villa living attains a new dimension at the JW Marriott Residences. Impeccably furnished and beautifully appointed, these residences meet the exacting JW Marriott standards. From the group renowned world over for their hospitality, the villas will re-define aspiration branded living. Residence owners can call upon, JW Marriott Dubai Lifestyle City to offer à la carte services.

In addition Dubai Lifestyle City and JW Marriott will maintain an outstanding community, carefully landscaped and maintained communal areas and access to every service required for an exquisite residences lifestyle.

As part of the agreement, all the villas and 'villettes' in Dubai Lifestyle City will be branded as JW Marriott Residences and the hospitality giant will take care of the full gamut of the house keeping operations for residents who choose its services. Besides, JW Marriott will run three separate, yet integrated lodging facilities to fulfill all the requirements of the visitors to the city. The 170-room JW Marriott Hotel, the 152-room Courtyard by Marriott, and the 46-unit Marriott Executive Apartments, will be available to the visitors to Dubai Lifestyle City.

The contract between ETA and JW Marriott sets the tone for a long-standing cooperation between the two groups to redefine the concept of high-end lifestyle in the region.

The multi-faceted partnerships that go into the making of Dubai Lifestyle City are forged with a view to create a living concept that combines state of the art amenities, sporting and recreational facilities, educational avenues and digital systems in a serene ambience. The presence of JW Marriott which is the foremost institution in the world in the hospitality and leisure sector in running the show is expected to set for Dubai Lifestyle City standards that hardly exist in the region, bringing "exquisite environments, approachable elegance and attentive service."
