- United Arab Emirates: Saturday, June 16 - 2007 at 13:46
- PRESS RELEASE
Emaar Properties has reiterated its community involvement with the hosting of the first-ever Community Market Day for residents of The Greens and The Views master-planned neighbourhoods.
The three-hour event was open to all residents of the two Emaar communities with the family feeling strengthened through free entertainment for children. Residents could rent a table to display their wares, and proceeds from the event have been set aside for local charities.
"The first-ever Community Market Day for residents of The Greens and The Views, two of our established neighbourhoods received enthusiastic support," said Mr Ahmad Al Falasi, Executive Director - Asset Management, Emaar Properties. "Organised by Emaar's Community Management Department, the event underscores our commitment to build the neighbourhood feeling through events that promote greater social interaction among residents."
"There were several great buys at the event, but best of all, the Community Market Day lived up to its name and turned out to be a fun-filled family outing opportunity," said a resident. "These initiatives are important in today's fast-paced world, and will enable us to get to know better others who live in our neighbourhood."
Emaar routinely organises Community Market Days and other social events for residents in its master-planned communities - Arabian Ranches, Dubai Marina and Emirates Living, which includes The Views, The Greens, The Springs, The Meadows and The Lakes.
