Waste plants for Dubai

Dubai Municipality is to set up five waste recycling plants in Dubai which will be able to recycle 20m tyres, over 10m tonnes of construction waste and 4,000 tonnes of solid waste every year, reported Gulf News. The DM is hoping the plants will reduce the amount of rubbish that gets transported to landfill sites. The amount of waste generated in Dubai has tripled over the past six years.
