Strong brand building exercise and excellent retailing has earned the mobility solutions provider the much-coveted award.

Over 800 brands active in the UAE market were nominated and reviewed by a panel of independent experts comprising key decision makers of the leading Government organizations, heads of financial institutions and representatives from councils. Based on their proficiency, marks were awarded to each brand and Cellucom was finally selected.

"It is an honour to be recognised for brand leadership. Winning this award is a testament to the fact that Cellucom has always underlined the indispensable fact of being a customer-focused brand. We strive to own a word in the mind of the consumer. Brand value is very multi layered which has a core to which the coveted consumer will stick until the very end. We strive to create a profitable brand so that both consumers and dealers can invest ultimate repose and faith on us," related Arun Nagar, Managing Director, Cellucom.

"Retailing mobility devices is an art that we have mastered over the years. Our positioning is different from other retailers: we adapt ourselves to customer needs and differentiate ourselves by providing a host of value-added services. In addition, we value and strive to ensure that our consumers can rely on us. We are one of the fastest growing mobility retailers in the GCC region. We have over 100 locations today, with the numbers going up every year," he added.

The Superbrands organization is the independent arbiter on branding. It identifies and pays tribute to exceptional brands by recognizing, rewarding, and reinforcing leading brands from all over the world. Superbrands have launched programmes in over 80 countries including UK, USA, Australia, India and UAE.

Superbrand programmes aim to identify those brands that are performing above and beyond others within the market. At the heart of all the programmes is an independent and voluntary council of leading experts comprising individuals with a deep appreciation of the brand landscape in the country being examined. Superbrand status strengthens a brand's position, adds prestige and sets the brand apart from its competitors.
