Kanoo Machinery wins Perkins award

The event was held at the Crowne Plaza on 22nd May 2007. The award was presented by Mr. Brian Tolson, Sales Director, Perkins to Mr. Faisal Kanoo.

Kanoo Machinery has emerged a winner in 2006 from 132 distributors spread across 181 world-wide countries.

The Perkins Award program encourages Perkins distributors to drive business growth and provide excellence in product support. This Award program began 8 years ago and distributors are now measured on 21 different aspects of their business from effective administration to meaningful all-round growth and product support capability.

In his address, Brian Tolson spoke glowingly of Kanoo as a model distributor and as a centre of excellence. Kanoo had come very close to winning the award the last couple of years but in 2006, the final hurdle has been crossed.

In a gesture that speaks volumes for the business relationship, over a hundred customers attended the function. They were joined by representatives from Perkins, Senior Managers from The Kanoo Group and key Kanoo Machinery staff.

The highlight of the evening was a raffle draw where 2 lucky customers won sponsored trips to Perkins factory in UK.

Mr. Freddy Sherman, Executive GM - Kanoo Commercial Group thanked the customers for their support and for coming over to share in this success.
