Maritim Sharm El Sheikh hosts International Conference of Foreign Ministers on Iraq security

The new Maritim Sharm El Sheikh International Congress Center, which has recently been operated by the German Maritim Hotel Company played host to the International Conference of Foreign Ministers on Iraq's security.
Among them were US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier, UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon, the Prime Minister of Iraq, Al Maliki, the Iranian Foreign Minister Manuchehr Mottaki and the President of the Arabian League, Amr Moussa all welcomed by Manager Nicolas C. Solari.
Nicolas Solari, in charge of the project said, "Maritim experts at organizing and operating large congresses and events could thus prove their skills right at the start of their presence in Egypt."
Most of the official guests stayed at the neighbouring freshly opened Maritim Royal Peninsula Hotel & Resort and it was a great honor to receive such important guest for the opening of the hotel. Opening a hotel is always a challenging task but the team was wonderful and together we did the opening of this resort with an impressive list of VIP's added Nicolas Solari.
The Maritim Sharm El Sheikh International Congress Center offers the most modern conference facilities in the area and thus lends itself to large international conventions.
It comprises of one large hall for up to 2,000 people and eleven meeting rooms with sizes of 140 to 800 square metres which are partly combinable. Six further VIP meeting rooms are also available.
The congress centre is equipped with the latest in conference technology including translation booths, modern filming facilities and an elaborate lighting system with the lobby and restaurant available for large receptions.
The neighbouring Maritim Royal Peninsula Hotel & Resort consists of 17 bungalow style buildings incorporating 337 rooms and suites, which, if required, can be combined to form 24 large suites. Thus the luxury hotel is able to offer suitable accommodation for government delegations and large families. Three restaurants, three bars, a health spa and a variety of sports facilities are at the guest's disposal.
