Salama shares soar on debut

Shares of Saudi IAIC Insurance Cooperative Co, known as Salama, rose 500% on debut on the Saudi stock exchange, Reuters reported. The SR10 Salama shares opened at SR45 and reached as high as SR64.75 before closing at SR60 on Monday. Tadawul All-Share Index, one the region's worst performers this year, fell 1.49% to 6,870.60 points. Of 90 stocks traded only six gained.
