Hesham Abdullah Al Qassim appointed CEO of Dubai Real Estate Corporation

His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of Dubai Executive Council, appointed recently Hesham Abdullah Al Qassim as CEO of Dubai Real Estate Corporation.

In his new role, Al Qassim will be responsible for the day-to-day affairs of the new corporation, which was established by a decree issued on 16th June by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.

Al Qassim's mandate includes implementing policies as directed by the Dubai Executive Council, apart from giving a strategic direction to the new organisation.

Al Qassim brings with him a wealth of experience, having held various senior-level positions in the country. He was the General Manager of Trading Operations with National Bank of Dubai (NBD). During his tenure with NBD, Al Qassim contributed to the growth of the UAE banking sector.

Al Qassim holds a Master's degree in International Business. He is a member of the Mohammed Bin Rashid Programme for Young Leaders and the DIFC Court, which operates under Dubai Financial Services Authority (DFSA). He is also on the board of Dubai Mercantile Exchange (DME) and mortgage provider Amlak Finance.
