Emirates Post's Training Centre and Cairo-based Arab Administrative Development Organisation to promote HR training

Emirates Post's Training and Development Centre (TDC) and Cairo-based Arab Administrative Development Organisation have signed a Memorandum of Understanding for developing joint training programs in HR development for professionals from Arab countries.

The MoU was signed by Mrs. Wiaam Ghanem, Director of TDC and Acting Director of HR, Emirates Post, and Dr. Mohammed Bin Ibrahim Al Tuwejri, assistant secretary, economic affairs, and director general of the Arab Administrative Development Organisation in Dubai recently.

"As a result of the MoU, we will be able to provide high level training opportunities in HR for Arab professionals under the umbrella of the Arab Administrative Development Organisation," said Abdullah Al Daboos, Director General, Emirates Post. "This collaboration will help raise further our training standards and introduced more focused training courses for the benefit of Arab professionals from the region."

Dr. Al Tuwejri commented, "This partnership will boost Arab cooperation in developing HR skills and excellence in postal field, and close the gap between the manager and staff. The jointly developed courses will meet the needs of the current labour market. We look forward to increased cooperation with Emirates Post in this regard."

"This is a first partnership of its kind in the region, focused on promoting excellence in training and benchmarking in the field of HR," said Wiaam Ghanem. "It will set new learning and teaching methodologies and adopt advanced training techniques, and thus raise the levels of professionalism among the participants."

Mrs. Ghanem said a technical committee comprising officials from both side would oversee the implementation of the MOU. The committee will meet twice a year and device training programs. The participants would be given diplomas jointly signed by the Training & Development Centre and the Arab Administrative Development Organisation.

Among those who attended the signing ceremony were Tarek Salem Elbakly, Head of the Professional Diplomas & Certificates Unit of the Arab Administrative Development Organisation, Mana Al Suwaidi, Marketing Director, Emirates Post and Munther Bin Shaker, head of Ramoul Sorting Office, Emirates Post.
