Gaiti Rabbani named Executive Director for Coloured Stones and Pearls division at DMCC

The Dubai Multi Commodities Centre (DMCC) announced today the promotion of Ms. Gaiti Rabbani to Executive Director for Coloured Stones and Pearls division at DMCC.
As the head of this newly created division, Ms. Rabbani's key responsibilities include the strategic development and promotion of Dubai as a hub for the global coloured stones and pearls trade, fostering relations with the international trade and developing industry services. Current DMCC projects in her portfolio include the Dubai Gems Club, Dubai Pearl Exchange and Pearls of Dubai.
As Chief Sales and Marketing Officer, Ms. Rabbani's key achievements at DMCC include lead participation in the creation and launch of commodity-specific trading platforms such as the Dubai Gold and Commodities Exchange, the Dubai Diamond Exchange, the Dubai Pearl Exchange, the Dubai Gems Club and the Dubai Tea Trading Centre. Under her able marketing guidance, DMCC has reached the 1,000 member company landmark in a short span of time, with the member list including some of the leading international names across various commodities.
