Chinese flock to Sharjah

More than 10,000 Chinese tourists visited Sharjah in 2006, a 50% increase on 2005, according to Sharjah's tourism director reported by 7Days. China currently exports 20m tourists a year, a number predicted to reach 100m by 2020. Sharjah is one of 800 exhibitors at the Beijing International Tourism Expo.
