Featuring a 13.3 inch diagonal widescreen display the Satellite U300 features an onyx blue metallic high-gloss lid as well as a silver palm rest inside. The Satellite Pro U300 comes with a titanium silver lid with black display.
Both notebooks feature latest Intel Core 2 Duo processor. The processors, code named Santa Rosa, are part of the latest Intel Centrino Duo processor technology, reducing power consumption while boosting overall performance from graphics to wireless capabilities.

Other features found in both models include a DVD Super Multi Double Layer drive that reads and writes in up to 11 formats and that can nearly double a recordable DVD's storage capacity for photos, music and video files; a high capacity 5400 rpm serial ATA hard drive with up to 160 GB for faster access to stored files; DDR2 SDRAM memory for better performance of productivity applications and music, picture and video multimedia files; five in one bridge media adapter for easy file sharing and download.
In addition, the Satellite Pro U300 incorporates the Toshiba hard disc drive protection system with full 3-axis motion to help safeguard the notebook hard drive against possible damage resulting from accidental dropping, turbulence, impact or vibration.
The Satellite U300 and Satellite Pro U300 will be available in the Middle East from August.
