Singapore Tourism Board teams up with top travel operators to offer enticing summer packages

A wide range of promotions have been launched for regional travelers heading for the Great Singapore Shopping Sale this summer.

Providing additional incentives for shopping enthusiasts to come and experience one of Singapore's most popular events.

As a response to the event's increasing popularity, Singapore Tourism Board (STB) has joined forces with top travel operators to create a number of special promotional offers to coincide with this year's sale, which runs from May 25th - July 22nd.

Highlights include an exclusive deal with Sri Lankan Holidays, offering travelers who purchase a ticket to Singapore the chance to extend their flight to any point in South India for a limited amount.

Visitors taking advantage of this deal will also receive a free Singapore River Cruise pass, which takes you along the charming Singapore River on a traditional Singaporean bumboat, past century old godowns and shophouses, as well as some of the city's biggest landmarks, including the Merlion.

STB has also launched a summer travel package with Kanoo Holidays. The offer, which includes three nights in a luxurious Singapore hotel with airport transfers, will be available for travelers from Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Qatar, Bahrain and Oman.

Until August 15th, tourists can also benefit from a special limited offer from STB and Star Cruises, who are currently offering a 50% discount for any accompanying guest on its signature 'Superstar Virgo' cruiseship.
As part of National Bank of Kuwait and DNATA's 'NBK Travel & Tourism Gift Book', which offers exclusive deals for its 20,000 credit cardholders, the luxury Four Seasons hotel in Singapore will be offering four nights accommodation for the price of three on their Bed and Breakfast package from June 1st - September 3rd. Another premier hotel, Intercontinental Singapore, will be offering a special weekend room rate from June 1st until the end of the year, plus a free upgrade to their 'shophouse rooms'.

"STB is pleased to partner with leading companies in the tourism industry to offer tailored holiday packages that appeal to regional visitors, ensuring a memorable time in Singapore," said Ke-Wei Peh, Area Director, Middle East and Africa, Singapore Tourism Board.
Visitors can look forward to discounts of up to 70% on a wide range of goods during the eight-week shopping festival, and designer labels offering reductions of up to 50% to mark their end-of-season.
