More than 65 key leaders, including MDs and GMs from all MCN brand agencies attended the two-day annual event, themed 'Doing it Better'.

Regional MCN agency top guns from Fortune Promoseven, Universal Media, Lowe, Initiative Media, Magna, Promoseven McCann, Brandbeat, Promoseven 360, Innovations, and Weber Shandwick participated in presentations, hands-on 'What If' sessions, and presentations on 'Doing it Better' in several areas - including People and Talent, Business Development, Finance management, Media and the changing scenario, and Digital initiatives.

MCN Chairman, Akram Miknas unveiled plans for a new regional HQ building to be called Promoseven Towers, being built near the Mall of the Emirates. The new hi-rise will accommodate all of the Dubai offices of the several agency brands in Dubai. He also shared the plans for the launch of a new concept 'Museum of Moving Images' - a multi city exhibit of the development of moving images - a project that will highlight and celebrate 40 years of Fotune Promoseven in 2008.

In his keynote speech to the leaders present, Fadi Salameh, CEO and President said "We've had fantastic results this year. We've grown by more than 40%, opened new offices, won major new business pitches, hired great new talent, won several top creative awards, but we still have to do it better..." He challenged every participant to look at three key areas - better product (as in better creativity), better people and better process.

The evolving theme for the seminar was 'doing it differently' to be able to 'do it better'.
Participants discussed the transformation of media planning to communications planning - a paradigm shift being driven by Universal Media. The need to focus on the fast developing emerging areas in digital communications was also highlighted - and the challenge made for every one to energetically join in the digital race towards the future. And, there was focus on people. MCN agencies are by their very nature people-centric in their business model - and there was clear focus on this throughout. "We simply cannot get better, be the best, without the best people - hiring the best, nurturing our talent, growing and developing them" CEO Salameh added.
