Offensive toys in RAK

United Arab Emirates: Saturday, June 23 - 2007 at 07:31

UAE nationals in Ras Al Khaimah have complained to the local municipality about a 'pig-shaped' toy that is on sale in a number of malls in the emirate and which, they say, offends their culture and religion, reported Gulf News. Shop owners have yet to receive any instruction to pull the toys off the shelves and said that a number of customers have purchased the items for their children.
