CGC launches Nokia 6110 Navigator phone in Qatar

Fulfilling the demand of location based services, Consolidated Gulf Co. (CGC), the biggest retailer of mobile phones as well as the largest Telecom and IT solution provider, has unveiled Nokia 6110 Navigator in Qatar.

With Nokia 6110, navigation is set to become a mainstream feature. This is the first mass market navigation-enabled mobile phone from Nokia.

Anil Mahajan, Head-Business Development, CGC, said, "Nokia 6110 Navigator brings a wide range of multimedia experiences to Qatar's mobizens. Using integrated GPS, Nokia 6110 Navigator users can quickly and easily view their current location on map, search for destinations, find specific routes or locate nearby services such as restaurants, hotels or shops. Featuring full turn-by-turn 3D navigation, it suggests the best route to follow by car or on foot, using voice or visual instructions on a map".

Mr. Mahajan added, "There is a lot for every user, whether they are on business trip or a holiday. They can do everything with Nokia 6110 Navigator, from sighting to shopping to exploring the vibrant cultures around the world. Traveling buffs can take panoramic snaps smoothly with 2 megapixel camera and web wizards can download and surf via high speed 3.5G".

Besides a host of imaging features, Nokia 6110 Navigator also has integrated FM Radio, MP3 player and Stereo speakers. Its 40 MB built-in memory can be expanded up to 2 GB with microSD card. Nokia 6110 Navigator also carries voice dialing facility and has solid battery back up, including up to 11 days stand-by and up to 3.5 hours talk time.
