NAS $4bn for new planes

Saudi-based National Air Services will invest more than $4bn to buy 98 new aircraft over the next five years, Arab News reported. Aircraft are being bought from Airbus, Boeing, Gulfstream, Dassault and Raytheon, which will increase NAS' fleet to 142 planes, according to Chairman Ayed Al Jeaid. NAS currently operates 44 aircraft. The order book includes 38 Airbus A320s worth $2.4bn and 20 Dassault Falcon 2000LX, for over $500m.
