Jazeera eyes third hub

  • Kuwait: Tuesday, June 26 - 2007 at 08:01

Kuwait-based Jazeera Airlines will open up a third hub in either the Levant or North Africa in the next 18 months, Gulf News reported. Beirut, Damascus, Amman and Alexandria are options, CEO Marwan Boodai is quoted as saying. The no-frills carrier set up a second base for its operations in Dubai last February. It ordered 30 new Airbus A320s last week at the Paris air show, which will give it a fleet of 40 aircraft.
