STC to buy Malaysia's Maxis

Saudi Telecom has agreed to buy a majority stake in Malaysia's Maxis Communications, the country's biggest mobile operator, Reuters reported. A deal is expected to be announced on Tuesday. STC has previously said it aimed to get 10% of its revenues from operations outside Saudi by 2010.
