Dubai holds roadshows in Australia & New Zealand

The Dubai Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM) announced the successful conclusion of Dubai Road Shows in Australia and New Zealand with the support of 11 co-participants drawn from the emirate's booming tourism industry.

The three road shows road shows were held Auckland, Sydney and Perth, attracting a large number of travel trade decision-makers in these cities. More than 300 tour operators and travel trade decision-makers attended the road shows. Alpha Tours was the co-sponsor of the road shows.

The co-participants were Alpha Tours, Arabian Park Hotel, Bin Majid Tours, Dubai Department of Civil Aviation (DCA), Emirates Hotels and Resorts, Gulf Circle Tours, Jebel Ali International Hotels, Knight Tours, Net Group, Southern Sun Al Manzil Hotel and Travco Travel Dubai.

Raffle draws offering holiday packages to Dubai were conducted at each road show.

The DTCM Deputy Director Overseas Promotions, Mr. Saleh Al Geziry, said the response of the travel trade decision-makers and media professionals at these road shows was overwhelming.

Australia and New Zealand are among the promising source markets for the Dubai's booming tourism industry with year-on-year increase in arrival of visitors.
