Abu Dhabi awards CCS deal

Canada-based SNC-Lavalin will carry out a feasibility study on behalf of Abu Dhabi's Masdar in relation to a major carbon capture and storage project. A report on the multi-billion dollar project is expected to be submitted by the end of the year. SNC-Lavalin will evaluate options for onshore and offshore CO2 capture and delivery to Abu Dhabi's oil fields to increase oil recovery.
