Emirates Investments Group seeks opportunities in Moscow

Sheikh Tariq Al Qassimi, Chairman of Emirates Investments Group (EIG), met with the Deputy Mayor of Moscow, Mr. Ordzhonikidze Iosif, to discuss investment opportunities in the private and public sectors in Russia, and specifically in the Moscow district.

The two parties spoke about possible cooperation, wherein EIG's global reach, backed by its proven capability to bring ideas and plans to fruition, not only in the UAE, but also in other countries throughout the world, such as Pakistan and Australia.

Mr. Iosif expressed his full support of foreign private sector companies in Russia, such as those from the UAE, due to strong relations between the two countries at various levels. He also expressed his willingness to provide all possible support to EIG as it becomes part of the rapid growth of foreign investment in Russia.

Sheikh Tariq presented information on some of the Group's projects and their progress status, and expressed interest in various possible investment opportunities put forward in the meeting, which was held at the Moscow City Hall and attended by the deputy mayor as well as various senior economic and business personnel.
