Iraq oil law threats

An Iraqi militant group said it will target MPs who approve the oil bill currently being considered by parliament, Reuters reported. The 1920 Revolution brigades said in a statement posted on a Web site used by insurgents that the proposed oil law was a vehicle for the US to steal Iraq's oil wealth. The proposed law is designed to regulate a sharing of Iraq's oil revenues between the provinces.
