Qatargas supports Ministry of Education program

Qatargas is supporting the Ministry of Education's English language program this summer with a contribution of QR. 500,000.

Mr. Ghanim Al-Kuwari, Chief Operating Officer, Administration handed over the cheque on behalf of Qatargas to Mr. Rabea Al-Kaabi, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education during a ceremony held at the Ministry. This contribution will help in funding a visit by a group of young Qatari students to learn English in the UK this summer.

Following the ceremony, Mr. Al-Kuwari said; "Qatargas is happy to support the Ministry of Education and the young students who will benefit from this program. English is the official language of communication today and the corporate language in most companies around the world. I am sure this program will help the students to be well equipped in order to succeed in their careers."

Mr. Al-Kaabi thanked Qatargas on behalf of the Ministry for its kind gesture and said; "The course will definitely help the students to gain a solid foundation in English language skills and give them a clear advantage".

Since inception, Qatargas has been actively involved in social investment activities in the state of Qatar, with particular emphasis on education.
