  • PRESS RELEASE

Emirates Post is stamping all mail with a special postmark (cancellation imprint) to spread awareness about the dangers of drugs from June 26 to July 2, as part of the observance of the International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking.

The postmark, designed in association with the UAE Ministry of Interior, is a demonstration of Emirates Post's support to initiatives highlighting the dangers of drugs. The postmark will carry the message "Drugs are the way to death...So, choose your way."

"Supporting humanitarian causes forms an important part of Emirates Post's corporate social responsibility," said Abdullah Al Daboos, Director General, Emirates Post. "We are particularly delighted to extend our support to the anti-drugs campaign through this postmark because we would like to join the global campaign against drug abuse and thus help save the society from the consequences of this great evil."
