Abu Dhabi to get film academy

The New York Film Academy has agreed to set up a film school in Abu Dhabi. The Abu Dhabi Authority for Culture & Heritage on Wednesday signed a memorandum of understanding with the New York Film Academy to develop the emirate into a hub for the film-making industry. The film and acting school is scheduled to open in January 2008.
