India ups refining output

India's oil refiners upped their output by around 15% in May when compared to the same month last year, reported Reuters. Government statistics revealed that India processed almost 3.2m barrels per day last month, as opposed to 2.7m bpd in 2006. Most plants were working above their target levels in order to gain from higher margins overseas.
