The two institutions will jointly offer a certified graduate diploma programme in Real Estate Studies from the academic year 2007-2008. The partnership with KTH's Department of Real Estate will play a key role in strengthening the scientific practice in the region's real estate business.

The graduate diploma in real estate will include courses in Introductory Economics and Quantitative Techniques, Real Estate Principles, Real Estate Investment Analysis, Real Estate Valuation and Real Estate Management and Market Analysis.
Senior faculty from the KTH's Real Estate Department as well as a Programme Director will be responsible for delivery and quality control of the DREI programmes. The programmes offered at DREI will also be evaluated using KTH's annual standard methodology to ensure quality of content, delivery and learning outcomes.
The students will be given full access to KTH's e-learning platform and digital library, which will facilitate interaction and support research projects. In addition, access to KTH latest research activities will be provided through DREI website.
During the signing ceremony, DREI's board of directors stressed their commitment to drive the institution's vision for excellence and global leadership. It comprises representatives from Dubai Holding's, Sama Dubai, Tatweer and Dubai Properties as well as Emaar, Emaar MGF and Dubai Islamic Bank.
