Kuwaiti Oil Minister resigns

Kuwait's government has accepted the resignations of under-fire Oil Minister Ali Al Jarrah Al Sabah and also that of the Transportation Minister Sharedah Al Mawashergi, according to a government source cited by the KUNA. The current Minister of Electricity and Water, Mohammed Al Olaim, has been handed the job at the Oil Ministry on a temporary basis. Al Sabah has been brought down by allegations of possible embezzlement.
