Acer's 'pick and drop' named best in the region

Acer Computer, the world's third largest IT vendor and regional leader for notebook computers, has the best after-sales service, according to an investigation by a leading regional IT magazine.

Acer's pick and drop scheme was found to be the most comprehensive and innovative, ahead of other IT and consumer electronic multi-product providers including, Sony, Samsung, LG Electronics and Panasonic.

"Acer's pick and drop service is the only one of its kind in the region. Meeting the demands of our customers is important for Acer, and we are proud to be recognised as a leader in the region," said Eugene Thomas, Director Operations, Acer Computer (M.E) Ltd.

Acer's 'Pick and Drop' service applies to notebooks and LCD monitor products based in the UAE and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, with the company looking to provide similar service in other Middle East countries as well.
