Taqa Energy gets MD

The Abu Dhabi National Energy Company, Taqa, is aiming to expand further into Europe's energy sector and it has appointed a new MD to head its Netherlands based exploration and production unit, Taqa Energy. Paul van Gelder, a Dutchman, took up his post on July 1 and will be based in The Hague. Van Gelder was previously working for Taqa as the Project Director of the Bergermeer gas storage project.
