The campaign runs in parallel with the global campaign of the '7 Wonders of the World Foundation' that aims to choose the new Seven Wonders of the World.

A print ad and online banners call people to vote for Petra, with the incentive to win a trip for two to this ancient city. The banners are on highly visited sites as well as the sites of Nissan Middle East and its dealers in the region. The voting results and announcement of the New Seven Wonders of the World will take place on the 7th of July.

"Nissan Middle East is happy to support Petra to be one of the new Seven Wonders of the World. Petra is a great symbol of not only engineering & protection, but also beauty and attraction. We want to extend our maximum support to increase its voting as we see it deserves to be a winner, giving us pride of this Middle Eastern destination" said Saleh Jafar, Senior Manager, Corporate Communication Department at Nissan Middle East.

The ancient city of Petra in Jordan is ranked now as one of top finalists in the New 7 Wonders of the World election. Carved out of solid rock walls, Petra bears testimony to the engineering prowess and artistic skill of Middle Eastern culture. Petra is competing with 21 other international sites worldwide, to be one of the new Seven Wonders of the World.
