Arabian Adventures expands its fleet with the powerful Chevrolet Tahoe

Chevrolet Tahoe is set to make its mark across the deserts of the UAE as Arabian Adventures, the UAE's leading destination management company, adds to its fleet the powerful, full-size SUV.

Liberty Automobiles Company, Chevrolet dealer in Sharjah and the Northern Emirates, through Budget Rent a Car, will deliver a total of 49 specially equipped Chevrolet Tahoe's by March 2008.

"Since its launch last year, the new generation Chevrolet Tahoe has dominated the market in terms of raw power, value, quality and comfort," says Muneer Alhasan, Regional Fleet Manager at General Motors Middle East Operations. "Designed to deliver a sharper driving experience, segment-leading fuel economy, increased interior refinement and improved quietness, the Tahoe is truly a leader in its category."

The 2007 Tahoe is built on GM's full-size SUV platform, which incorporates features such as a new, fully boxed frame, coil-over-shock front suspension, rack-and-pinion steering and an all-new, premium interior system, wider front and rear tracks enhance handling for a more confident road feel.

"Chevrolet Tahoe is the SUV of choice for serious off-roaders. With its high levels of safety, comfort, reliability and superior ride and handling, the Tahoe is by far the ultimate dune driving vehicle," said Peter Payet, General Manager, Arabian Adventures. "We conducted extensive product testing in the segment and the Chevrolet Tahoe constantly outperformed all the other competitors and contenders. Our decision to use the Tahoe as our fleet's vehicle of choice was an easy one to make."

Present at the handover of the first 10 Chevrolet Tahoe's were Peter Payet , General Manager, Arabian Adventures, Tayeb Al Rais , Managing Director, Liberty Automobiles Company, Duncan Peat, Managing Director, Budget Rent A Car, Muneer Alhasan, Regional Fleet Manager, GM Middle East and Terry Johnsson, GM LAAM Vice President, GM Middle East Operations.

The Chevrolet Tahoe is available at Liberty Automobiles Company in Sharjah and the Northern Emirates, Al Yousuf Motors in Dubai and Bin Hamoodah Trading in Abu Dhabi.
