DME 4m barrels Oman in June

The Dubai Mercantile Exchange says it traded 4,000 Oman crude oil futures contracts for physical delivery in the first month. The contracts, equivalent to four million barrels of crude, are deliverable for August 2007. The exchange reported a total of 58,365 contracts traded during June, of which 39,571 were Oman crude futures. Oman set its first official selling price based on DME settlement prices for August crude at $66.05 a barrel.
