BBC Gaza reporter freed

BBC reporter Alan Johnston was freed Wednesday after being held by Palestinian gunmen in the Gaza Strip for almost four months, according the news reports. Johnston said it was 'fantastic' to be free. UK Prime Minister Gordon Brown acknowledged the 'crucial' role played by Palestinian Islamist movement Hamas in securing Johnston's release.
