Linked with Tanmia since 2004, the three companies were recognised for reaching their Emiratisation targets and hiring UAE nationals in a range of fields, including the reception, customer service, sales and human resources.

Mariam Al Gurg, Director, Easa Saleh Al Gurg Group, said, "We feel committed to developing talent of the UAE nationals in this region. We often recruit them through Tanmia and train them in our business procedures to increase their confidence while dealing with non Emiratis."

In keeping with the Emiratisation drive in the UAE, she said, "Going further, we are also recruiting candidates at career fairs and through walk-in-interviews."

Jamal bin Mohammed Al Mazrooei, Information officer at Tanmia said, "Most nationals prefer taking up government jobs. We are trying to change that and encourage them to opt for private companies where it is a little more competitive."
