People meters coming to ME

The GCC Advertisers' Association is paying 40% of the $4m needed to roll out a people meter system in 1,000 Saudi homes, Gulf News reports. Advertisers say they are currently "working in the dark", relying on random phone interviews to try and find out what television Middle Easterners are watching. They claim the results of these interviews are often inaccurate and unreliable.
