Etisalat & RIM celebrates one year anniversary by crossing 14,000 BlackBerry customer mark

Etisalat BlackBerry service was launched in the UAE in May 2006 and Etisalat has crossed the 14,000 customer mark and is confident that this is just a start. Companies across different vertical industries have become BlackBerry users in the UAE with users drawn from the financial services industry, manufacturing, and transportation among many others.

One important trend that has been witnesed is the expanding of BlackBerry usage beyond email into mobile business applications.
