An American national, McCarthy has spent 25 years in the hospitality industry, the majority of which has been with InterContinental Hotels in the USA, Middle East and Africa.
During the past fifteen years, he has held senior positions in Saudi Arabia, Oman, Egypt, Zambia and Bahrain and is now very pleased at the opportunity to work in the United Arab Emirates.
As General Manager he will be responsible for directing the overall management and operation of Towers Rotana Hotel Dubai.
