Qatar orders 30 Dreamliners

Qatar Airways has placed a firm order for 30 Boeing 787 Dreamliners, according to Gulf News. The deal is worth $4.5bn at list prices. The aircraft will allow the carrier to expand while waiting for 80 Airbus A350s, ordered at the recent Paris Air Show, start arriving in 2013, an official said. Meanwhile, Qatar Airways starts flights to Washington next week.
