CCTL based in Almaty has employed 20 Volvo trucks fitted with GPS tracking devices to run between Bandar Abbas, Bishkek and Al Maty.
'With the launch of this service we intend to bridge the service gap that exists in transportation from Bandar Abbas to the two important destinations in the CIS, said Augustine Chalissery - Managing Director of AGL Logistics LLC. 'We have run the service successfully since October 2006 and decided to launch the service after rigorously testing the service and competency levels of the entire team monitoring the movements.'
The USP of this service is the time definite transit time of 9 days to Bishkek and 10 days to Almaty after the container discharges at Bandar Abbas. Transferring the containers on their own trucks is a distinct advantage as opposed to being dependent on third-party trucking companies at Bandar Abbas Port.
'We have worked closely with the AGL Logistics TEAM in Dubai and we were very impressed with their professionalism and quick decision making when faced with crisis situations, which is a definite edge while operating into the CIS sector, said Yesen Srymov - Managing Director of CCTL. 'We look forward to providing our clients with top notch service levels which has prompted our investment into our own equipment with GPS monitoring devices that gives us status reports every four hours.'
