ME lags in data protection

A lack of corporate governance in the Middle East is making companies negligent when it comes to data protection, according to Patrick Hayati, Regional Director, McAfee on AME Info Broadcast. In the US and Europe companies are legally obliged to have protective measures in place. But Hayati says other types of data loss liabilities, such as a loss of brand equity, are starting to cause concern in the region.
